A new way to make veg more interesting than ever before, KitchenAid's Vegetable Sheet Cutter turns cylindrical vegetables into long or short sheets - just like a woodturner's plane - and, once you've attached your chosen vegetable to the machine, it's completely hands free! It comes with a choice of two thicknesses so you can choose the right amount of crunch to suit your dish, and all the removable pieces are dishwasher safe.

A genuine KitchenAid accessory, this vegetable cutter attachment allows you to get the most from your mixer's powerful motor. Like all KitchenAid stand mixer accessories, it attaches to the multipurpose hub that hides behind the iconic sliver logo.

With adaptors to help you carve hard and soft vegetables alike, this clever gizmo can create sheets from potatoes, carrots, courgettes and even butternut squash, as well as from apples and pears - so you can create veggie pasta sheets for sweet and savoury dishes, or layer up large terrines in straight-sided dishes and top hotpots and stews in a sophisticated, geometric style.

Both blades, food holder, skewer and the zucchini adaptor are dishwasher safe to help make your life easier. The body of the attachment simply wipes clean with a damp cloth.

Insert the standard food holder into one end of the piece of veg you're planning to plane and push the stainless steel skewer into the other end, engage your chosen blade and then let the power of your KitchenAid do the hard work. Fruit and veg pieces should be cut so they're no larger than 8.9cm diameter x 14cm long.

Please note: very hard items such as yucca root and squash should have their skin or rind removed. We recommend you use the seedless section of butternut squash.

Insert the standard food holder into one end of your courgette or cucumber, centre the zucchini adapter into the other end, lock the food and its holders into place and proceed as for harder veggies (above). Pieces should be no longer than 11.4cm long.
