Unfurling its stainless steel petals' to fit inside pans up to 23cm diameter, it lets you steam veg without having to buy a separate steamer. Just add a little water to your saucepan, lower the basket inside using the stalk' in the middle, then add your veg. Rounded feet means it won't damage the non-stick coating on your prized pans, and the stalk makes it easy to lift out when your veg is cooked.Closing up to just 14cm across, it's easy to store inside a saucepan and it can also be used (with care) to steam things resting on top of a pan of rice, pasta or potatoes - as long as you're only steaming a small portion.
